'Ship sinks' off Turkish coast

A cargo ship has sunk in the Black Sea off the coast of the Turkish city of Istanbul, local media reports say.

Twelve crew members aboard the ship are believed to be missing - 11 are reported to be Ukrainian nationals, and one Russian.

The Turkish coastguard has been quoted as saying they have launched a search and rescue operation.

Turkish TV showed footage of a second ship also in difficulty amid stormy conditions.
